The night was a perfect blend of high-energy entertainment, local culture, and delicious food, making it an unforgettable way to welcome the New Year.
The evening kicked off with a burst of humor from Funsi’s very own comedian, D.K.K, who kept the crowd laughing and set a joyful tone for the night.
Following the comedy, the Savage Dancers from Lawra took to the stage. Their performance was described by many as “electrifying,” showcasing incredible choreography and energy that moved the entire audience. The musical vibes continued with Samson B, the “Nmang Miineng” hitmaker, who delivered a soulful and rhythmic set that had fans singing along.
The highlight of the night was, of course, the headline performance by Wiyaala, the “Lioness of Africa.” Not only did she deliver a powerful solo set, but she also shared the stage for a spectacular collaboration with Samson B and the Savage Dancers, proving why she is one of the continent’s most beloved icons.

The festive atmosphere was matched by the quality of the catering. The menu featured local favorites, including: Fried Rice with a choice of Chicken or Tilapia, Banku with a choice of Chicken or Tilapia.
The food was so popular that every plate and drink was completely sold out! Pricing remained accessible for such a high-profile event, ranging from GH₵105 to GH₵120.
The event was professionally managed by Iddrisu Dasana, Head of Programs for Pulung FM, who served as the Master of Ceremony. He was joined by Wiyaala, who showed her versatility by co-hosting the night, ensuring everything ran smoothly from the first laugh to the final countdown.
If you missed out on this year’s celebration, don’t let it happen again! The Lioness Kingdom is already preparing for an even bigger and better celebration on December 31, 2026.
