The National Peasant Farmers Association says 80 percent of its members have been left out of the second Phase of the Planting for Food and Jobs (FPJ).
“As of June, we observed that 80% of the farmers have not been registered and their farms have not been mapped, which is a source of worry to us, because the rainy season has started. If you go to many places, a lot of people have started planting, and they need the inputs to be able to grow food”.

“So, this is a source of worry to us as an association because our members are calling on us every day for the farm inputs,” the National President of the Peasant Farmers Association Wepia Awal said.
According to the Association, farm input and other logistics are yet to reach members.
The National President of the Association, Wepia Awal Addo made a passionate appeal to the Agric Minister, Bryan Acheampong to come to their aid.
The PFJ Phase 2, which was initiated in August last year, aims to provide an input-credit guarantee system for farmers to address the challenges faced during the first phase of the programme.
Please and those who have not been registered what are we going to and some of them their farms are pending
