The “Lawyer Abu Juan Foundation,” a non-governmental organisation based in Funsi, Wa east District, Upper West Region, has pledged to pay the first year’s tuition costs for three exceptional students who graduated from Funsi senior school with aggregate scores of 14 and 15.
Executive Director of the Lawyer Abu Juan’s Foundation, Abu Juan Jagiara stated that the sponsorship stemmed from a pledge he made on his birthday that the first year tuition fee of two brilliant graduating students, both male and female, would be paid in full by his foundation.
According to the lawyer, it does not matter which cores the student is going for.
“Now, for last year, my information from the school is that, there are three people who will be getting the award because two of the students got the same results. So what I have agreed with the school is that if you are able to give us your admission letter and then we know the amount of the fees we will pay for it.”
Lawyer Juan further revealed that the payment of the fees promised for best students with good grades won’t be a onetime thing but will continue as far as the school still exist.
The CEO also donated 20 chin guides, two footballs each for male and female football teams, two volleyball for the school and a fully loaded first aid box for the school.

The kind gesture according to the lawyer forms part of his efforts to promote education and educational activities in the Wa East District. He took the opportunity to advise the youth to take their studies serious so that he will not be disappointed in the steps taken but will be delighted in the end.
Some beneficiaries who spoke to Pulung news gave assurance that they will learn very hard to achieve their dreams of becoming good future leaders in the country.
