The atmosphere at Kaleo Senior High Technical School (SHTS) was filled with spiritual fervor and festive cheer on Thursday, December 18, 2025, as the school community gathered for its annual Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols.

Held at the school’s Dining Hall, the event commenced at 6:00 PM, drawing students, staff, and invited guests together to reflect on the significance of the Christmas season through scripture, music, and performance.
The heart of the evening was the reading of the Nine Lessons, which trace the story of the fall of humanity, the promise of a Messiah, and the birth of Jesus Christ. The lessons were delivered by a diverse group of representatives from the school community:
- Lesson 1: Mr. Albert Paali
- Lesson 2: Yong Nowel
- Lesson 3: Mr. Moses M. Tang
- Lesson 4: Mr. Kandomo Jacob
- Lesson 5: Representative from St. Basilides
- Lesson 6: Baraazie Faustinus (SRC Secretary)
- Lesson 7: Mr. Adams Korica Issahaku
- Lesson 8: Madam Naah Kanyiri Therisah (House Mistress)
- Lesson 9: Mr. Servace

The service was not only a spiritual exercise but a showcase of student talent. A highlight of the night was a dramatic reenactment of the Nativity, bringing the story of the manger to life with vivid costumes and moving performances. This was complemented by a soulful poetry recital by Miss Sonaa Maximon, whose words captured the awe and wonder of the season.
Adding a rich cultural dimension to the liturgy, the Dagaare Choir led the processional hymns. Their harmonious voices and traditional rhythmic influences set a solemn yet celebratory tone for the night, anchoring the global Christmas story within the local heritage of the region.

The event served as a moment of unity for Kaleo SHTS, providing a pause for reflection before the end of the year. As the final carols echoed through the hall, the message was clear: a celebration of hope, peace, and the enduring spirit of the school community.
